Join Genesys Global DE&I Director and Professor, Tandalea Mercer for an examination of culturally insensitive language in the workplace, as well as a look back at how the power of words have shaped many of the developments of the past year. From the historical origins of the divisive language dating back to colonialism to a discussion about how we can move away from it, this talk will cover a lot of ground from how words can disrupt inclusion in the workplace to how they may even incite violence.
